Product Description
Hardened carbon steel 1045 CNC turning parts provide the strength, toughness and economy required for heavy duty mechanical applications. C1045 medium carbon steel responds well to induction and through hardening, delivering surface hardness up to HRC 50-55 while keeping a tough core. We machine parts in the soft state for tight tolerances, then apply heat treatment and finish grinding where required. The result is a dependable component for shafts, pins, rollers and spindles that carry real loads.
Key Features- Induction Hardening: Surface hardness HRC 45-55 with case depth 1-3mm on request
- High Tensile Strength: 585 MPa minimum tensile strength in normalized condition
- Wear Resistant Surfaces: Hardened journals and splines extend service life under friction
- Finish Grinding: Grinding after hardening holds roundness below 0.005mm
- Economical Material: Low material cost makes 1045 ideal for high volume mechanical parts
- Multiple Finishes: Black oxide, zinc plating, phosphating or plain oiled surfaces

15+ Years of CNC Turning Experience - Our workshop has been dedicated to precision CNC turning since 2009. Over 1,200 custom turning projects delivered across automotive, medical, electronics and hydraulic industries give our engineers the practical experience to solve complex machining challenges before they reach your production line. Every project starts with a DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review, where our team refines your drawings to reduce cost and improve repeatability without compromising function.
Engineering Expertise - Our process engineers average 12 years of hands-on CNC programming experience with Fanuc and Siemens controlled lathes, including multi-axis and Swiss-type machines. We maintain an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system and our QC team is trained in GD&T interpretation, CMM programming and SPC process control. Prototype samples are typically delivered within 5-7 working days, backed by full dimensional reports.
Authoritative Manufacturing Partner - We export to 40+ countries and serve 500+ active B2B customers, including tier-1 automotive suppliers and medical device manufacturers. Our facility holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, and material suppliers are audited annually with full traceability certificates (MTC) kept on file for every batch. CE and RoHS compliance documents are available upon request.
Reliability You Can Verify - Every batch is 100% inspected before shipment: critical dimensions are checked with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), optical comparators and calibrated micrometers, and inspection reports are provided with each delivery. Our on-time delivery rate stands at 98.5% over the last 24 months, and we offer a 12-month workmanship warranty on all machined parts.
FAQQ1: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 100 pcs for stock materials, but we accept trial orders from 10 pcs for prototype validation. The MOQ can be discussed based on part size, material and process complexity.
Q2: How long does delivery take?
Prototype samples are ready in 5-7 working days. Mass production normally takes 12-18 working days after sample approval, depending on quantity and surface treatment lead time. Urgent orders can be scheduled on our 24-hour shift line.
Q3: How do you control quality for large batches?
We follow a closed-loop QC system: first-article inspection, in-process SPC sampling, and 100% final inspection of critical dimensions. Full inspection reports and material certificates are shipped with every order, and traceability records are kept for 5 years.
Q4: Can you work from samples or just drawings?
Both. We accept 2D/3D drawings (STEP, IGES, PDF, DWG) and physical samples for reverse engineering. Our engineers will provide a free DFM suggestion and quotation within 24 hours of receiving your files.
Parts are individually protected with anti-rust oil (where applicable), separated by partition trays or bubble wrap, and packed in export-grade corrugated cartons or wooden cases for heavy batches. We ship via DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT and sea freight (FOB/CIF/DDP terms available).
